Summary: 1. Study intends to check utility of easily available blood ratios and other inflammatory markers in Secondary HLH(sHLH)
2.Malignancy was commonest cause with nearly half of patients having EBV infection
3. Lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio (LMR) <4.43, Red blood cell distribution width-to-platelet ratio (RPR) >0.33 and Ferritin >2318 ng/mL can be used to predict survival
5. Patients with sHLH due to malignancy had poor survival compared to Infective and autoimmune sHLH patients
Bottom line: LMR and RPR are easy and cheap markers to predict survival in sHLH
